We are laying over in Paris for 8 hours and make the most of it on a budget. For under $50, we'll show you how to quickly visit the exteriors of some of Paris' famous and free attractions with the city's subway metro and on a Vélib rental bike. Some attractions, includes Luxembourg Garden, Notre Dame de Paris Cathedral, Arc de Triomphe and off course the base of iconic Eiffel Tower.

Nice video! except the RER isn't a subway, it's a commuter rail but that's not important lol. I would plan on arriving at the airport 2 hours before a domestic flight and 3 hours before an international flight, so I'd recommend leaving Paris 3 to 4 hours before your next flight

Hello can anyone help me I have a schengen visa for Germany Berlin .My flight is via Paris. A layover of 12Hours 45mins in Paris. Can I visit Eiffel Tower by the time and also do I need some paper work to get out of the airport?.Like a transit visa or something?.

Thanks for the quick reply.. I have a 7 hr layover in CDG Airport.. Do you think I can visit Luxemborg garden and from there to Eiffel tower on bike? then back to cdg for flight to Toronto

Yes, but it has to be a quick visit 2.5 hours maximum

I have a layover of 23 hours and my flight arrives at TERMINAL 2E from bangalore and departs from Terminal 2F to Porto. I have a Schengen visa with me as well. Can I leave the airport and if yes should I leave from terminal 2E ..Any help please ?

You can leave and there is shuttle between terminals
