Awesome. I wish I had the time, skills, and materials to do this. Whenever I take the time to evaluate the design features of the Togo chair, I better understand why it's a design ahead of its time. Very professionally done! The front CORNERS of the cover should have followed the foam shape and should have pointed UPWARDS. The only detail which immediately shows, „It‘s not the original one“. Great job, though! 👍

Thank you! The templates are available for download. Recycled foam was used for the base. Its density is not known because it is made from leftover foam of different densities. The top layer of highly elastic foam has a density of 45 kg/m.

I made attempts to do this, but it didn't work out due to the large number of orders and lack of time. Every time I pass a naked chair in the workshop, I think of the cover. I can promise to do it soon and fail again. I'll try to get busy this Saturday)

We use foams of different stiffnesses. The first layer is stiffer, then softer and more elastic. The foam brands we use are: EL2240, HR4525, HR3020. HR foams are highly elastic.
Hey, I'm planning to make this but the bigger 2 or 3 seaters one. Is it possible to know the measurements of the fabric used for the one seater just for reference?
@@comodesignru yes that's what I'm planning to do this summer, it wasn't hard to calculate the amount of foam for a three seater using your layout that I purchased but I'm finding it really hard to calculate the amount of fabric needed. So if you have any information to share, I would really appreciate it!
This looks amazing! im wondering if there is a reason you didnt add extra "Triangle" shaped foam layers, on top of the base layer, in the middle (like you did on either side) as they do in the official chair. Recycled foam is made from waste products without regard to density or other characteristics. But for this chair it seems to me that the frame should be made of rigid foam, and the upper comfort layer is soft and dense.

Well, seing the manufacturing of this cheap copy feels like an insult to all the people working hard to make the original models to me. It is absolutely not how it's done and well, the final result ain't close to the real one .... Good try
