This was fascinating to see! I own a small boarding farm in the US, and I love seeing how other farms/ environments/ countries care for their horses and farms. There's always something to learn from others! Those fields are just gorgeous!
@@bethendurance Right!? I have a super simple farm, where I "joke" that the horse's needs come before the people's wants... but I spent hours on Pinterest looking at gorgeous tack rooms, and incorporating the designs into it. Everyone's jaw drops when they walk from the simple farm into the "fancy" tack room! 😆
Your livery yard sounds really good I have heard of even diy livery were they charge you for using the water separately from your livery and storage etc but I am like you I would love to one day own my yard slash rescue space especially for retirement of horses etc and maybe a couple of sheep and goat and of course some chickens but your yard sounds so relaxed
I love your barn! That is the perfect size. I used to board at big barns and OMG, the people, especially females would get so hissy. I was so sick of and moved to a smaller barn. When I get a new horse, it will be at the same barn I still work at.
I have heard of paying for trailer parking and use of other equipment. At a barn I used to board at, I would have to clear it with many people to put up groundpoles.
