You can use a dress form or clip board to keep the strings in places.

Was that finished? Confusing as to how that was to take a useable couture design. Incomplete! Please redo this and finish the project, showing its wearable form! Looks lovely on the menu picture!

Your work is great but the camera angle is very wrong: Your hands are covering the knots you are making, the camera angle should be above your knot making. This video was very disappointing....as I couldnt understand the steps. good luck
