Спасибо за мастер-класс. Я считаю, что немного неверно рассчитана длина шнура. Использовал такой же 5 мм. хлопковый шнур. 32 нити по 300 см, и на ручку 8 по 450см. Когда закончил 16 рядов основной сумки, оставшиеся куски шнура от 70 см и более на каждой, их приходится отрезать и выбросить. Вполне достаточно было брать по 250 см нити. Высота получилась с ручкой 52-53 см, ширина 28 см. Дно еще не закончил, думаю немного переделать, не так как у вас, сделать с каждой стороны срез на 45 градусов. Еще раз спасибо.

и еще по поводу ручки. решил сделать ее длиннее, не по 16 рядов с каждой стороны, а по 22 ряда. так моей жене будет удобнее носить. Приходится распускать изделие, 2дня работы. жаль. Вариант в видео жене доставляет дискомфорт.

In my tutorials, I intentionally avoid specific measurements as viewers often customize their bags and cord types differ. It's always a good idea to have extra cord to avoid running short. Я сделала эту сумку. При выворачивании у меня углы "встали". Так как они торчат, то она не лежит под рукой плоско. Короче такая фигня вышла. Я ужасно расстроена. Макраме брала 5мм крученое как на видео. В начале кстати пределывала ручку так как она слишком длинная.

I used 5mm in this video. If you use 3mm, it will be smaller. You may need 200 meters & same length to the video to be sure.

This was perfect, thank you! It was only the second macrame bag I had ever made, and I had started doing macrame only about two or three weeks ago. Even as a complete beginner I was able to complete this bag perfectly - at least to my knowledge. Now, I used what I believe is called string macrame cord (instead of rope) which gave the bag just a bit of a different look compared to the one you made. I nevertheless love the end result but would go for rope next time as I generally found it a bit more difficult to work with string macrame in other projects I had been doing. Last but not least, to use a bit more of the ends I did twenty rows instead of 16 for the main body of the bag and still had plenty to work with. I even ended up with about 60 cm of macrame with the final result so I would probably go for about 30 cm less next time. All in all, I am super happy with the result and had three amazing days working on it (just a couple of hours each day)! I am looking forward to doing more of your bags but can see myself doing this one a couple times more as a gift to friends and family!!

Wow! Your inspiration from my tutorial means the world to me. I usually create a trial piece before filming a tutorial. If it doesn't turn out right, I make adjustments until I nail the cord length. After working on numerous macrame projects, you develop a natural sense for how much cord you'll need. 😊😊😊 The length of cord used can sometimes vary based on the type and quality. Hello, this is a very nice project!! I started this version using 5mm braided cord and it is coming out nicely. I was wondering: if i wanted to do a “mini” version of this bag with 3mm cord, i would need to increase the length of each initial cord, right? because smaller cord will necessitate more knots? This looks amazing. I’ve never tried macrame before but I feel with this amazing tutorial I could give this a go. What thickness is the cord needed to make this please as I saw someone say they used 4mm and it was too small. What thickness should we use? Thank you so much ❤️

My apologies, but the length of cord used can sometimes vary based on the type and quality. Try to use 5mm instead with additional 60 cm on the given length. 😊
