Field's metal is a safe, low temperature casting metal that melts at a higher temperature(144° F), but still low enough to melt in hot water, so it will last a long time after casting.
I like how this comes together. Are there any measurements for making it. I can adjust sizes from some initial measurements and the measurements of the maker. Beautiful character. I hope there is a page to show approximate measurements? That wouild be most helpful! :)
@DaveHax I'm not sure if the teflon coating is preventing it or not but you have seen what Gallium does to aluminium right and most baking trays are made of that so it may have damaged your cookware a tad and your Gallium may not be so pure anymore.
