Her hair looks good. I started mine the same way with my fine 3c-4a hair and I had loose ends, but mine curled at the end once washed. 21 months in and they have thickened up nicely to the point my hair looks nice and full. Enjoy your journey.

I did the DIY micro braids into locs. My hair was damaged.. so it was really thin at first. I'm a year in and it's thickening up pretty well. I love it... best decision for me. Maybe I'll do a video one day.

If it were someone else, I may have went all the way to the ends, but I know my sister and I know she doesn’t KNOW hair, so someone can get into her head, but she knows I’m going to look after her no matter what. Nice job! All new to me learning lots, never seen lock left out at end but ftom comments can see it's a thing! I have micro braids not planning locks never knew it could be a lock starter hairstyle until recently.

Hey, her hair is doing great. I actually am doing her retightening tomorrow. I pulled back from making RU-vid videos because after being on for over 11 years and my channel not growing, I decided to let it go. I may upload a short, but nothing big that I have to edit too much.

Thanks for showing micro locs on this texture hair which is same texture as mine which is fine and low density. I’m trying to decide between whether I should get micro locs or sisterlocs. I’m told the sisterlocs are smaller than micros and grid is different which I’m not concerned about the grid as long as it’s neat. If you have any advice please share thx.
Glad it was helpful! I wish I had found someone that could have done microlocs or a consultant that did medium to large locs (considering they are all really small compared to traditional locs). I do not like the really skinny ones in my hair (toothpick size) which is why I have combined some and will be combining more. I say unless you want the name tied to Sisterlocks then Microlocks should be fine.
Yass, you did an awesome job...I just did my own hair for the first time this weekend... I don't have to fuss over my hair anymore (my hair is a little passed my shoulders & naturally curly)...so far I am loving it!! I have been wanting to do this for awhile now & just went for it & did it- best decision I made!!!
Good Morning, I do a 4-point rotation on her hair because it's so silky, but I do a 2-point rotation on mine. Both of us have fine hair, but her texture is silkier than mine.

NappyliciousTV thanks sis! ok, I must admit I do bully my sisters a bit, but that’s because I look after them no matter what. They are my babies and always have been 🤣🤣🤣 one is older and this one is the baby, but I’m the go-to for everything. Some woman gave my daughter her card to give me when she saw them in the store and some other people asked for my number because they liked their hair so much.
Me next!! 🤣 🤣 I live in the area and I’ve been trying to find someone for an install but there really aren’t that many. Plus the few that we do have are booked for months. I’m in no rush though it will happen eventually 🙌🏽
