I was wondering how to make a brush for the stable tack room and this is the best I have seen, it looks like the body brushes we have at home in Scotland for the horses. Nail Art is like Christmas morning for miniaturists!
Thank you! My first attempts looked sloppy. The cereal template changes everything, as well as packing the bristles tightly. Otherwise, they flop this way and that and don't look realistic.
I've been wanting to make one of these but wasn't sure how to go about it. Absolutely love it. There's some natural grass like that around my neighborhood. Wonder if it will work. 🤔 I'm certainly going to try it 😍✨
Nothing ventured, nothing gained! It's not like it would be a great loss of materials since this brush is made out of popsicle stick, trash food packaging, paper etc. Let us know if it works.
I love these short how-to videos!! And I think you are incredibly talented!! My hat is off to you ! Mary. PS: I’m going to attempt this for my current cabin project! Already have the bucket! 🪣
Exciting! Here are some miniature snowshoes I made from scratch. Maybe they'll look good in your cabin. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-h6vWUW3IgNQ.html&feature=share8 This one's a wall shelf, bear trap, bellows for a fireplace and a hearth broom ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZYNSkxH_Apc.html&feature=share8 Miniature broom with easy sewn bristles ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GHAT_f73KFA.html&feature=share8
You're not losing your mind! I did about 3 months back. It was part of a much longer video. It was the most popular part of that video. I wanted to make a video dedicated just to the bristle brush so people could reference it easily
After building my hobbit house, I now have to fill it with ... well... stuff. lol. This is a perfect item to add to the stuff pile! lol. Thanks to you my houses are gaining stuff!!! 😄😁😅🤣
I love everything you do! Would you consider saying goodbye at the end .I live up in the mountains and I never know if I've lost connection or if you've ended.. thanks for your consideration
So cute!! I made a shower set with a scrub brush similar to this, it helped me to use a rubber band to hold the bristles and made trimming easy. I will def need to make one of these for some scrubb'n..lol and will be adding them to a cple hair brushes as well. This was so cute..loved it❤😊
My bristles were packed so tightly, I'm not sure a rubber band would make a difference. I do wish I had used shorter bristles to start, though. You need to leave extra so you can handle and trim them, but I left too much extra and wasted material.
It turned out fantastic. I am going to try this out as soon as I need one, so I’ll save this video in my miniature folder. Could you tell me what type of white glue you’re talking about. Is it a better glue than tacky glue? Not sure if you can get tacky glue where you live or not but thought I’d ask, just in case.
I'm using a glue called Canopy Glue Formula 560. It's a glue model makers use for attaching sails to tiny ships. It's like thin tacky glue. You could use almost any other type of glue though (wood glue, pva glue, tacky glue etc). It can be tricky to get the bristles to grab hold right away when you're gluing them directly to the popsicle stick, but the cereal box template fixes that. The glue grabs it quickly.
I love your channel. Didn’t you use to have another RU-vid channel some year ago with polymer clay miniatures and animals? I had the impression that you lived i Denmark by that time and worked with nail art. Is that true?
Very early on, I made a miniature clay shark on my channel. It's still on here. I haven't worked with polymer clay very much. I'm much better at animals than I am with food.
The best dollhouse store in New England is Earth & Tree Miniatures in Amherst, NH. www.earthntree.com The store is enormous and packed with well-organized minis. They sell new, vintage, and handmade items. Flip This Dollhouse is located in MA, but I dislike the owner, Nathaniel. I overheard him bragging about making so much money selling minis, he can shop two days a week. I bought mystery grab bags and they were garbage. I don't like how money grabby he is. The store itself is filled with overpriced minis. They were selling basic, cheap chairs for $20 that cost $8 each at Earth & Tree.
@@queencityminis last week I hit newbedford! Lovely oh but so pricy and I agree with N. Although I was happy for him yo have a dollhouse in a TS video. Never again!
I use a glue called Formula 560 Canopy Glue. Apparently it's used in making model airplanes and attaching mini sails to tiny sailboats. It's like thin tacky glue. It holds quickly, but it's thin.
Sort of. This tutorial was part of a longer video. I reworked it as a standalone video so people can easily find it and save it (and not because I was way too busy to film and edit a new video this week...)
