Made one of these last year. It is thirsty, needs to be misted and watered daily or it yellows. It feels good on your feet when it is dry, but it has to be constantly wet to survive. Its habitat attracts mold and mildew; mine did not acquire any bug residents but it may have eventually. If you plan to step on it regularly, you will kill the moss and with each step dislodge some of it onto your floor. Moss is delicate. Moss actually needs dirt not this weird adhesive stuff, so you will have some dirt shedding too. After it got too moldy that I didn't want to clean it, I "liberated" the still alive pieces to outdoors and threw away the mat. Fantastic decision.
