The oil on the back iron is to keep it from rusting. May be use galvanized or pvc.

Looks good man! I've been bugging our local motorcycle shop to install these next to the service counter for YEARS! You have to either balance the helmet on your boots or try to tuck it under your arm or something while filling out paperwork. It's dumb & they always say, yeah, they need to put up a rack, but never do haha. If I were king there would be helmet racks for everyone!

Helmet hangars are absolutely necessary when you have a fleet of lids like you do haha!! My 3D printed ones are curved so the inner lining of the helmet doesn’t get pressure point compression where they sit. I absolutely love pipe “Industrial” looking stuff like you made there, well done bro!! …oh and your dad said you don’t listen!! 😂

Not really. This thing has served its purpose well. One could make this a ton cheaper if they used PVC piping I think though. You don’t really see the pipe once the helmet is installed so that “aesthetic” is rarely seen

Well, that was the second one I made since I had the measurements. And they are still not on my wall to display, my garage project has not made ANY progress lately :(
