I hate it when projects go awry, but it looks like you did a great job. I also vote for the Condor to be your next project, it's just so beautiful.

Hey John. Found your channel last month and love it. I'm a television news photographer working in Milwaukee, live in Mequon if you're familiar. Like I said, love what you do, But a word of advice from a 35 yr video editor. In the future, blur your car license tag. On all your cars. I would also try to keep identifying features outside your garage to a minimum. I see too often people use all sorts of ways to enhance their pocketbook if you know what I mean. (Identifiers) Heart failure brought me to cycling and like a teenager fell in love with all aspects of the sport. I have two Lemonds. A steel Croix de Fer and a carbon Lemond Versailles. Now that I've found your channel I look forward to running into you at a show in the future. I've shot news stories at Waterford and Trek in Waterloo. Anyway good luck with your remodeling and as we say at work, "see you on TV". Charles McGee

Hahahaaaaaa! That was just crazy John. I knew as soon as I heard & saw, "now the 1st cut's the hardest", & I stuck around to see the the fun only to have you edit out the best bits. It's so quick & easy to get a perfect fit & finish, nothing to square? protrusions? No problem. If ya know, ya know! Hahahaaaaaa! Sorry. If you want to know, say so & I'll tell you the secret in 2 minutes......Aust.

I want to see how the 'Dale turned out with the Sante group set. I just recently acquired a Sante set and I have two old 'Dale frames. Congrats on upgrading the man cave. Looks good.

GIOS = JOESSS . One syllable, just like a friend named JOE but with a hiss (SSSSSS) on the end. Not GEE-OHSS. Glad you're doing the remodel, I hate doing that stuff as much as I like the results. The only thing missing IMHO is a tool board...there's something special in a display of tools at-the-ready vs stuffed into drawers/cabinets.

The thought that you should do the Condor next kinda flashed through my mind. I had used the same vinyl flooring and tried to secure a few pieces with my brad nailer with same results.

There's something to be said for keeping things clean and looking good. If I don't, it just bothers me. Much nicer to look at things and think "that looks sooo much better"! As for the bikes, I'd prioritize the Condor and Harry Quinn. The Hetchins story is good too, but I'm already familiar with it, and some folks have heard of it before.

I think a big take away is use vinyl not laminate if you want a more flexible and forgiving surface, whether wall or floor. Think it will also be better for sound for the videos and music which leads to this question: what kind of sound system do you have? Your wonderful shop deserves good music and quality sound.

Do the small brands first, the Quinn or Condor. Others were assembly productions. When I first started to ride (1971) there was a student at SIU who had a Hetchkins.
