I'm not super into this diy :( I know she mentioned she would rather sew than use this method and this is how she is accommodating for everyone asking for no sew options. However when I envisioned a no sew series I was thinking that it would be options that wouldn't require sewing in the first place ( cropping, iron on transfers, patches, embellishing, distressing, etc.) This is a transformation and it really requires sewing to ensure the seems have the needed integrity :( She has thousands of subs, some of which are going to try to recreate it and are essentially just wasting fabric and materials because this will fall apart after a few wears :( I love you Nava and I love your never ending creativity and unique diys. I hope you see this comment and maybe change the focus of the no sew series into ways to up cycle that don't require hot glue seems.
I totally agree with you, these DIYs seem a bit cheap and messy, which is so not her usual style at all! Can't wait for future upcycles using maybe simple sewing!
everyone asks her for a “no-sew” diy video. she would rather sew her projects (as she’s said in previous videos) so she’s just trying to accommodate to the wants of her viewers.
Omg i went yo urban outfiters like 2 days ago and saw a plaid scirt and top set and i really wanted it but it was like 100euros(not sure how much that is in dolars) and my parents didnt let me get it so now i can just buy a cheap mens shirt and make a bunch of these sets!!!! thank u sooooooo much!!!!!😊💖💖💖
Omg hahaha we need to be friends for reals... I’m terry sure I follow you on tik tok!! I’ve been doing different designs with men’s button ups and seen this one had to click!!! Then I see you again hahaha ❤️🌻
It's way more expensive to buy each time for one project. Honestly, a $100 sewing machine would be a better investment than buying fabric glue ten times
@@fluffypuffs I think it's more that you need to use a lot a lot of fabric glue to get it to work so you go through it quickly. Also in my country (NZ) , I only ever see tiny bottles of fabric glue and it's hard to come by too... It's pretty darn expensive compared to hot glue here. Another good option might be iron on hemming tape or something similar.. But I'm also still on the buy-a-sewing-machine side with @beaumiffle though.
The whole point of the video is "no sew". She's giving an alternative to sewing by gluing. If you don't like it, you don't have to follow it. But she is giving a tutorial to those who can't sew and glue is the alternative she used. Your comment makes no sense lol
Honestley yea i mean like sewing is'nt even that hard, i mean like yea if you dont have a sewing machine it can take a long time buti dont have a sewing machine but if i have to sew this it would take me over night to sew this
