In today’s tutorial, I’ll show you how I made this beachy mermaid peekaboo tumbler using the Dawn Power Wash method! This tumbler was created by adding vinyl cutouts to the tumbler, spraying dish soap all over it, coating in white spray paint, rinsing off the dish soap, then peeling away those vinyl decals to reveal the colour of the tumbler underneath the spray paint (peekaboo!)
There are many different variations you can do with peekaboo tumblers, but the Dawn Power Wash method is great for creating a beach vibe because it leaves ocean-spray bubbles that look like the tide washing up on shore! They look much more organic than trying to create that look using vinyl cutouts. This is a really fun method to play around with. Hope you enjoy!
