I made the flutter top from scratch. I used a flowery rayon and was pleasantly surprised to find that the “tube” and neckline actually lined up perfectly. Good job 👍 with the directions. My only negative was that the top was too short so I added a 3 inch band to the bottom. Also the top was a bit baggy. If I make it again, I would lengthen the rectangle and trim the width and tube. All in all, it was a fun project and helped me use up some scrap fabric.

I revamped an old t-shirt of my hubby's......size 2xl works great to make a shirt similar to the second one! I used the bottom of the shirt for the ruffle.

Love the ruffled style, only problem with rayon fabric is you can really wash it or get it wet. Great DIY as always.

You can also go to the local "cloth-store" or another place where they sell cloth and buy it there. you can put a knot in it (in case it turns around -> looks better than the metal) plus It's very cheap

this tutorial was so good! i tried the second one and it turned out so nice!! one comment would be (if i did it again) to make the over layer even longer for better arm movement and make the bodice a bit narrower to make the two layer a bit more separate and better fitting. overall they were really clear instructions you gave and i love wearing my new top!!!
