Sorry it has been a minute guys! A lot happening behind the scenes that is shaking out this week finally. Taking it easy with a quick update then we are back to our regular scheduled makeovers. Such a great move to look back on spaces you're made up after they've been lived in and "fix" them. It shows us that it's ok to make mistakes and go back and fix it. Fab job again Rachel 💚

Amazing! If it were me I might want to make the spacing between the doorway slats a little bigger for me to see through but that’s definitely just my preference. I need to do that slat technique on a few walls at my place. It looks incredible!

I liked the original makeover a lot but I agree that it was too much clutter, which somehow made the whole room even darker. Now it looks absolutely beautiful and it is great that you were able to adjust this based on her experience in the room

Hi Rachel! I watch all you episodes religiously. I know you don't like to be in front of the camera much but it would be great great great if you could explain your design rationale and choices more before you jump into the actual DIY. You could do it with sketches or photoshop or something if you don't want to talk on camera. That will really help your viewers understand some of the stuff you are doing. For example, I did not get why you blocked off that door with the vertical wood panel you created. Was that a door before?
