Agree totally! We don't have Dollar Tree in Sydney, Australia & lazy susans are truly expensive things to purchase, with this method, I can have much cheaper lazy susans made for our kitchen. YAY! Thanks Alejandra :-D
Alejandra, I'm OBSESSED! Over the last 16 years that my husband and I have lived together our house has gotten messier and messier, to the point where we're the family joke! Now I'm moving project by project through my house, and it's amazing!! I had a student come in yesterday and said "Holy crap, I think I'm in the wrong house!" THANK YOU!!
You are so creative with these organizing ideas, Alejandra! The lazy Susan is just brilliant! I am sorting through SEVERAL boxes of old papers right now. I listed a box of 33 VHS tapes on Ebay (Yes, VHS tapes. A guy named Steven used to live in this apartment building. He moved out and left masses of stuff, including 2 large boxes of VHS tapes.) and an office chair on Craig's List. Watching your videos keeps me motivated. I'm working on decluttering and getting reasonably organized.
I am a quilter. I use a new pizza box (I asked and they gave me a couple) to hold all of the pieces of my quilt blocks when they are cut. It is big enough to hold the pieces to a queen size quilt. Everything is together to make the top when I am ready to sew. I keep the instructions, thread, and a few extra pieces of fabric in the box. It is easy to take with me to my quilt classes and guild meetings.
love the lazy susan! I have plenty of cake pans to use for that...plus, when you need to bake a cake, you can still use them for that purpose. the cup hooks for necklaces are cool, too. as for the pizza box organizer...that was really cool! if people worry about grease from the box, they can actually go to their local pizza place & request a couple of unused boxes. might cost ya $1 or $2 per box, but they'll be grease free. I need more organization in my life....these are great ideas, so now, I'll go watch part 2! :)

I *always* love your ideas. You are the epitome of organization to me. You and Julie Morgenstern are like the organizing goddesses. But I must admit, often ideas or methods seem unreachable to me, simply because I cannot afford places like the Container store and the like. I always LOVE to see when your more budget friendly ideas come around, like when you use dollar stores, etc. Now THIS video hit home! I clicked it right away and my eyes got large! THIS stuff I can do, and you truly inspire. Please keep ones like this coming, I could eat em up! ;) That lazy susan thing is such a stroke of genius. I cannot wait to get to the dollar store to make one, and buy up the contact paper and duct tape. Where have u been my whole life ommmg ure an organization goddess, im watching ur videos with my head between my head suprisingly, how u make such a cool thing out of nothing, most of the supplies u used are just some stuff we really throw away on a daily basis thinking we really wont need it anymore, u brought life from most of dying stuff, good job
