These are lovely, but they are trickier than they look. Firstly, you have to count the number of folds if you want to make sure that your wire is in the center one. Also, you have to make sure that the fold on the end folds toward the back, not the front, as that would not be attractive. If you make the piece of paper 4-1/8, you can make equal folds of 3/16". Also, if you are not experienced at working with wire, the part at 6:13, which Ms. Boyd says is "a little tricky," is really not for beginners. It's easy to mess up the wire and find, at the same time, that you have moved the top loop around so much that the fan has a largish hole there now. Just some warnings ... but they are very pretty, so good luck! :)
Love watching your videos. I dabbled in jewelry making a while ago. Had to stop crafting due to things. My problem is making the loops. When I get all my crafting supplies I will try again.
Hi Jay: It's not actually live, but a pre-taped video that will start streaming at 2pm. I'm going to hop into the chat at the right side of the video now.
Hi Kerri: I didn't see this until now. That live chat is to the right of the video (on my laptop). Unfortunately RU-vid doesn't show the replay of the live chat from Premiere videos. Thanks so much for watching.
