Loved them ,I've been searching for palm leaves for 3 days online that would come fast, I watched you make the leaves, then jumped up got a paper bag a kabob stick and my glue gun and made 3 leaves for freeeee,i can't believe it lol Thank you ♥️

I don't know why anyone would want to add the dirt. I guess I just prefer a new look. I don't like distressed stuff either. Anything that stays in my house long enough gets "distressed" soon enough! Love the vessel! I kind of like the sound of that, vessel ... Sounds better than vase

Hi Emily... when I think of the word vessel I think it belongs in the ocean like a sailing vessel ...you could refer to it as a jardiniere...your completed DIY came out very elegant ... love it 💛

It's called vessel if it's meant for holding liquid. It's a vase if it's meant for displaying cut flowers or as an ornament, and doesn't have handles

Vessel does sound weird but that is the cool label for these vases. I still call them vases. I think if you did the baking soda and paint treatment on the vase it would have even looked more antique

Girl, your giddiness about how this "vessel" turned out is cracking me up this morning! But I do get it...it really does look phenomenal! Maybe could we just call it a ceramic jar? If not, I'm definitely going with vase. A vessel is something that takes things from one place to another as far as I'm concerned. Like a spacecraft or a submarine. But anyway, now I'm off topic.
