In this video I give my patio a much needed DIY makeover with furniture, decor, paint, plants, pillows, privacy sun shades and more. This patio transforms with some inexpensive outdoor decor, cleaning, decluttering and decor. We even created a DIY plant stand. It comes out so nice. I definitely enjoyed getting creative to give the space a new life using new pieces & old ones we refreshed on a budget. It’s amazing what some paint and wood stain can do. Protecting the beautiful wood on your deck is the smart thing to do, it will keep it in top condition for a long long time, much longer than for people who just let the seasons attack it and don't do anything other than sweep it and hose it down every now and then. Those shades that you got are really cool. You have a beautiful summer deck area to hang out, I especially like the separate seating areas and those boho style pillows are just gorgeous!

I live in an apartment, so I use our sun room patio garden space, I added new cushions from Walmart and Big lots. I also added a new outdoor rug and door mat and lots of plants and flowers , 2 hummingbird feeders from the Dollar tree . Shelves I already had . I used seeds and pots from others decorative things I had around for many years. My bench and tables where repurposed from throw aways ,chairs from yard sale for $3 for 4 patio chairs. I currently plan on planting some greens in a laundry basket I recently purchased from the Dollar tree. I also added a new apartment size barbeque grill to the space, yes I am totally loving how this outdoor space is taking form. Tiny space that's works for me🌿🌹🪴🌻🌿🌺🪴

I have a small front porch. I have a rocking chair, plant stand, and rugs. I also have a porch sign that I change for the seasons. Then I have flowers in pots. The problem this year is the constant changes in the weather. Last weekend it snowed and the last few days it was 75. Today we are having a windy rainy day. I can’t wait for the weather to stabilize.

The song is “I Can Sing A Rainbow”. My husband has a lighted mirror that reflects a rainbow. My 7 year old granddaughter lights it every night & we sing this song every night before she goes to sleep. We have grandchildren ages 5-18. Everyone of them sang this with me at sometime or another.

One suggestion..girl get you a sprayer...it clips onto your spray can..makes it so much easier to spray paint...you'll LOVE it...the transformation is beautiful!!

I am going to give my patio and deck a summer refresh. Outdoor Scotchgard is a must! Your daughter had me laughing when she was spraying the cushions. Wow what a difference a can of paint do! You found some great finds for the patio. Loving the boho pillows. The planter box your husband made turned out great 👍🏾 adding wheels was another great idea. I also have a patio and macadam on which I have a seated arbor and they seeded swing. I also have an umbrella to go in my table and chair set and that is how my yard looks with all my elevated and my black fence along the front of my lot

Worked in our front yard today, new plants and mulch. Still trying to decide what all to do with our back patio. Love the way yours turned out. I do the same thing with my pots, spray them to match whatever color scheme I’m going with. I did buy some new cement looking pots at At Home. Thought since the were on sale buy one get one half price I’d pick out a few new ones. That ended up being $150 for three pots, so expensive. I just couldn’t see paying the price for some of the plastic ones, crazy. Love the planter box your husband built. Maybe I’ll get mine to make some nice ones for our back patio, hummmmmm…

I bought $ Tree glass jars with metal "handles" in a textured look from the "shore" section, I added a bag of their glass stones, and bought solar light that when I removed stake it fit perfect on top of /into jar. I love them!!! Your patio cleaned up beautifully and stain really refreshed the wood! Tables look fabulous and love the couch, well I love it all!! Beautiful outdoor space! Love the rugs!!

Love it all. Seems like a lot of hard work went into everything! We have the same roller shades and they are a massive help keeping the morning sun off my front porch. I also got to Hobby Lobby last month and grabbed the same Welcome to our Porch sign. Your patio looks so inviting...I'd love to just sit out there with a coffee and read a book. Watching one of your other videos is how I found out about the outdoor scotch guard! I wish I would've known about it last summer to treat my patio cushions. I just did a makeover of my deck this pat weekend (holiday project). I painted my deck and it looks so much better. I bought new patio furniture and a fire pit for it. Still decorating, but I'm loving it and watching what other RU-vidrs are doing to update their spaces. 😊
