You are so freakin' talented! I never would have imagined that such a small space would have made such a big difference. That was brutal on your back and knees, too! Well done. You've added so much value to your home. Each step just keeps making it better. I appreciate your sharing. Very inspirational.
Thanks for watching! It was a little tighf over there but my only other option was over by the smokehouse and would have had to run a pipe all the way over there. Plus I like that grill being close to the back door especially during the winter :) Take care
I'm doing a similar project and this video has been so helpful to get me educated and prepared for the work! Two questions - you pulled out plastic siding; did you replace or add more around the outer edges of the new pad? AND did you use a geotech fabric between the road base and sand base to prevent weeds/plants growing through? Thank you very much!
Thanks for watching. You are right I added on to my existing paver patio because I want the new pavers to touch the old ones and if I didn't pull it out it would show the separation. I didn't use any fabric snd you really shouldn't. The base is enough to keep the weeds from growing from below the pavers and the paver sand between the pavers hardens up to prevent anything from the top. Take care
Lokks great and blended in perfectly with the old ones. Your landscaping is beautiful. And on a different note..do you remember what your house paint color is?
They are patriot hostas. I really do nothing to them they just grow really well on the property. They are mainly on the north and northeast side of my house. The more shade the better I'm told but some of these get 4hrs of sun a day. I do divide them and make new one :) Thx for watching!
