Aww, my feet used to be really nice but as I started getting older they started to get crusty lmao shout out to you for showing us the real before & after, I STAN
I had my Amopé sitting in the closet for a couple of years, finally charged it and bc it’s the waterproof model I just leave it in my shower caddy so I am reminded to use it on a consistent basis. That and slathering my feet with Natura’s Castanha Foot Cream after my nightly shower makes such a difference. Hydrate, hydrate hydrate!
I find adding Listerine is awesome, dead skin will almost wipe off your feet. Fun Fact: It was originally marketed as a foot soak before a mouthwash unless I'm mistaken.
As a retiree on a VERY fixed budget I really appreciate your DIY on doing a pedicure! Pedicures at a salon are just too expensive now! I actually tried your DIY today and it works, yes my back was sore as I don't bend as easy as when I was young, but my feet look and feel SO much better that it's nothing a good stretch and a heating pad won't fix!! Thank you very much!
Such a kind & thoughtful show of appreciation. It’s nice to know that people like you (who still take the time to express a kind thought, even to complete internet strangers) still exist out there. 💛
@@abetweene I can't wait!! :') I wanna do more home pedis for my mum as she's on her feet everyday. sending you lots of love girl!! youre an inspiration!
I do my own pedicures and never had a professional one in my life. I appreciate your videos. I’m a girl with lymphedema too and I incorporate your helpful tips all the time. Beautiful pedicure as usual. 💙
if you soak in a tub and then use one of those green korean exfoliators you can do that to your whole body, its so gross yet satisfyingly know that you're super clean LUL
What I love the most is that in addition to showing everything from the very beginning until the end , you suggest simple home-based alternatives that don't have to be branded as in most RU-vid videos.. Thanks, you help a lot.❤
"this is a judgement free zone" I needed to hear that! Thank you! I was never taught how to take care of my feet so this is a very helpful start. Any tips on if you're disabled/have trouble stretching would be much appreciated.
Wow u r the first on RU-vid who actually shows pédicure from the Beginning ( i meam u showed us everything and never left a thing) I like u and love ur vid thank u honey ..keep going with the good work 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Wow this is the best self care video I’ve ever seen. The final result is beautiful. People spend maybe at least $25 for a pedicure when they can do it for free at home. Thank you for this I will try it out!❤️
Girl you’re one of those people who can do themselves a root canal and brain surgery and sip tea in the meantime. Just watched two videos and subbed immediately ❤️
As a young black woman in the middle of a personal transformation , I appreciate the way you articulate your process during this procedure and making it easy to follow without getting bored or even the slightest confused. Not only was this video extremely easy to follow and relate to, I hope this video remains posted so I can show this to my daughter one day. The little things in life matter. We need more videos like this!
This woman!!!! Is absolutely real! Like she would show you how to and how not to ( for idiots like me :p) of everything! Sugaring or pedicure… or anything… she doesn’t show a million products that are sky rocket expensive or anything just plain simple quick stuffs that get the job done. Absolutely love love love your work. And of course thanks a million for your videos! ❤
Thank you for including the links to the cost effective and more expensive Items. This was very clear and easy to understand. Now to watch it 20 more times before I try it on my wife for her birthday
I absolutely loved this video. Non-judgmental, informative, aesthetically pleasing and you show such care for your feet it is admirable, truly. Thank you so much for putting this together and sharing with us! (also, loved the tips and diy products you shared! )
I love how detailed you are in your videos you inspire so much women including myself !! I love how honest you are in your videos I definitely learned a ton and will be more consistent with my self care.
Girl, I'm so glad I found you! I recently started doing my own pedicures after having a baby and needing to cut back on salon costs. I've watched umpteen videos and bought all these supplies... But you ma'am. This video? Priceless. More pedicure videos, please!!! ThankYouSoMuch!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾
I LOVE that color on you girl! Please do more pedicure videos! I've started having issues with big calluses lately and I would love to see your videos covering calluses more in depth
Bless your heart for offering low budget products, while also offering high end products. I work as a nurse aide, and my feet are a MESS. Getting my feet in shape while also being able to save money makes me so appreciative and happy. Thank you!!
thank you for being so authentic and real and comfortable with yourself because i could never 😂😭 i will be after this though. i feel like most diy pedicures usually start off with girls having like their feet are fresh out of the salon. your diy is so affordable and just real so thank you
WOW. I just realized this video is old so you may not see this comment but I just wanted to point out what a wonderful job you did explaining WHY you're doing everything you're doing, how to do it and what to expect. I'm someone who has a very hard time understanding little pieces of things, like if I don't understand the why part it's very difficult for me to hang on to the information. I don't have that problem listening to you at all tho and that's pretty amazing! I don't find that very often at all so when I do it's like I've struck gold! Lol thank you for doing what you do, you're awesome!! 🥰🥰✌️✌️🙏🙏
This was such a good tutorial, feet are feet and they get dry!! Other tutorials show someone with already perfect feet so I feel so bad about myself lol. Omg and the fact that you showed that you grow a bit of hair on your big toe made me feel so much more normal. Your videos are so natural :)
I've never had a professional pedicure/manicure, so it was refreshing to see that I'm kinda on the right track & that my feet look similar to yours & everything that is sloughing off. Other videos I've looked at show perfect feet at the start so a bit of an illusion :)
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge!! My first DIY pedi and my feet are so smooth now after following your steps 🙃 I subbed as soon as I saw you show your before feet. Keeping it real! Dying to sugar my toes now 😂 I usually tweeze and it’s not the same. Thanks again can’t wait to check out your other vids!
Thanks for the tips! I want to start doing this for my husband because he works so hard. His feet look like hard working feet & they need a good pampering. He deserves it ❤️
I just came across your video. Thank you so much. In a pandemic, we all need methods of self-care. I like that your tools are easy to access or are just items from the pantry.
I file my feet before soaking. The calluses come off so much easier. I learned this during a pedicure years ago. I did order this file though. It seems like a great one!
Discovered this self care channel and I already made a Self Care Appointment with myself and now I will have a Self Care Day every Week to feel better for myself 🥰
ive never really cared about foot care, but after getting with my current boyfriend i find myself wanting to look my best, just like he does for me, your tutorials really helped me out, hes actually super interested in the fact that a lot of the stuff you use is also handmade. Thank you for filming !
When the RU-vid algorithm actually leads you to a good vid 🙌🏿 Thanks girl! Really needed this; I’m tired of giving away my money for something I can do myself
I am so thankful for your videos, I didn't get a lot of feminine advice like this when I was younger and I'm wanting to take better care of myself as I get older. Keep it up!
Yeees! I needa try this! Haven’t been to a nail shop in over 6 yrs,got my first pedi last month $60 YALLS?!?!💆🏽♀️....thanks for sharing b/c this momma of 3 little busy bodies needs it!
I've always cared for my feet but now that I'm pregnant nothing works, they're always dry and look so bad I'm trying this tonight in hopes it works :(((
Girl THANK YOU for all these DIYs! I love going to the salon but am trying to save more money these days so these vids are much appreciated! 💕 really want to try your sugaring DIY next but I am slightly intimidated!
These tips are so helpful! My feet are a disaster and I never really manage to get rid of the dead skin properly. I'm gonna go and try the vinegar hack, seems like a life saver
THANK YOU SO MUCH for this video ! I taught myself how to use certain tools because i take care of my mother's feet and this helps so much to make the process more effective :)
Not sure if this will help, but what makes my back hurt is when I curl my back over. To fix this, I keep my spine straight and bend at the waist, not curl my spine. You can try doing this by sticking your butt out.
I'm real picky about my feet and I also live in Florida... I do wear sandals all year around but I'm having all kinds of problems with my feet and can't believe I didn't think of any of your tips. I'm definitely going to try your routine! Love the nail polish too! And BTW you do have great looking feet!
I get chills every time I see the scrubbing. As a guy with a bad heel callus I just get a pedicure once a month. I can see why women love to go to the spa.
You did that!!!👏🏾I am definitely too cheap to take my add to the nail salon but I can do this at home. I’m so excited. Thanks for sharing!❤️ Nee subscriber here!☺️
I recommend using the Pedi Perfect. I was given a deluxe for Christmas and it works amazingly! It's even waterproof so you can exfoliate your feet in a soak, bath, or shower then you can change parts when your feet are dry it does the work of a file without the mess and your skin is so much smoother. Working on my feet for 12 hours a day is hell on my feet but this thing has kept my problem feet very healthy.
This video was so relaxing. Also, I need to give myself a pedicure. I'm 7 months pregnant so I've been procrastinating. However, this I can do! Thanks girl! Great video!
