You guys should do a go fund me to buy a workshop building and install a outside faucet. Those two things would make your home just about perfect. I have used your videos to show my grandchildren how beautiful someone can make their home with a little planning and hard work.

I love how the shutters turned out. I've been looking at prices, here in Ireland, and knew I couldn't afford them. I think I might just buy some wood and try one window. You and Shane should make a PDF of the plans and sell them. I'd definitely buy them.

I liked this video before I even saw it. I just knew it was going to blow my mind. Girl you and Shane did not disappoint. You guys make a great team! Asking for prayers please! My husband has terminal cancer and had a bad fall! Please lift him up in prayer also, I have psoriatic arthritis and issues with the nerves in my arms and legs going up into my sides and just went into a bad flare with the arthritis which I don't need because I'm his sole caregiver so, lift him mainly in prayer but ask the Good Lord to please give me the strength because with him and you all as prayer warriors we got this!

I've been wanting plantation shutters for the longest, but I think you have convinced me that I should buy them and have them professionally installed. I have potential anger issues, and my husband definitely is prone to becoming angry under pressure. I could talk to you for hours on your projects. You are absolutely right the memories are everything. If you think you were in love with those shutters now you were going to love the memories 1000 times more my late husband and I put down tongue and groove floor in our new home literally spilling blood sweat and tears. I’m 72 years old. He is gone now. And I hang on tightly to the left of the tears and the blood that was billed. You have your heart and soul in the right place. My God you are a breath of fresh air on here. I cannot believe you tackled these yourselves! Married here for 34 years with five kids and we have weathered some MAJOR storms. Merina and Shane, those shutters take my breath away You completed what seems to me an almost impossible and very complicated task. What great teachers you are! For anyone on a hard road, don't despair and give up. We all have unknown or undeveloped strengths and abilities within ourselves. I believe that we can open ourselves up to them and work our way out of whatever needs to change for the better. We can take heart from these two courageous, loving, and resourceful human beings. Personally, I am grateful that I have "met" them and their beautiful family and for the positive difference they have made in my life.

I literally am getting quotes for a simple shutter in my bedroom (renovating after major storm damage) - so far cheapest quote is $990(AUD) for one friggin shutter!!! Shane, it might be cheaper for me to fly you out to Australia and get you to make my shutter!!

I cant believe u guys made those. Part of the reason I bought my current home was it had plantation shutters throughout. However, after some years the louvers weren't staying open, and had to look up how to tighten with the side screws to adjust and replace the magnets. U guys did a great job and looks great!❤

I’m so excited to see this! I’ve spent most of today dumping out my closet and I was ruthless with getting rid of stuff I didn’t need. Some of it was really nice stuff that has been given to me and now I am going to donate it to charity so someone else can be happy with it. Congrats for hitting 40k. I was going to tell you before about the shelving in the kitchen counter. You could always put doors on the ends and have more storage if needed.
