I absolutely love this project! Love the simplicity of it. I have bought the cutwater xl plans and can't wait to get started on building it with my children. Thanks for your hard work!
Nice job Aaron! I wonder if fiberglassing the hatches would give it the needed strength without adding as much weight as another layer of plywood. Plus it would help spread the load out.
Aaron how did this project go? Or is it still in progress? Also, any chance you'll build race paddleboard, something long and narrow for speed? Loving your videos...
I've been slowly working on the cat project, the goal is to have the boat in the water and sailing by september. I am also working on a 14ft paddleboard design which will have a beam of 28inches. I'll share some images of the new board soon.
