Did you hear the news? Hello Kitty and Friends Supercute Adventures Season 5 is premiering on May 25th! To help you get ready for the big day we have a supercute DIY to create popcorn bags to look like our friends My Melody, Keroppi, and Badtz-maru!
Let’s get started!
Paper Bag materials needed:
Brightly colored paper bags
Scissors
Glue
Black Marker
Printable template: bit.ly/3G90QEf
Popcorn materials needed:
½ cup Popcorn Kernels
¼ cup Vegetable Oil
2 Tbsp Butter
½ cup Sugar
Food coloring
Large pot
How to Make DIY Popcorn Bags Step-by-step instructions:
(01:14) Step 1: Use the template to cut out Keroppi’s face.
(01:21) Step 2: Glue your elements to the bag. Adorable!
(01:39) Step 3: Use a black bag and glue on the element to make his face.
(01:52) Step 5: Use an extra bag to cut out Badtz-maru’s hair.
(02:11) Step 6: Do all the same steps for My Melody and use a black marker to make a dot for her mouth. Awww!
(02:20) Step 5: Use another pink bag to cut out My Melody’s ears.
(02:42) Step 6: Let’s make popcorn! Add the oil and popcorn kernels to the pot.
(03:08) Step 7: To make the glaze, add the butter, and sugar. Once hot add in sugar and popcorn kernels.
(03:20) Step 8: Add food coloring and stir it in. Add your popcorn and mix it all in.
