Over the past couple weeks we've been putting the finishing touches on our DIY front porch makeover with the help of #sponsor Lowe's, and I captured a timelapse of our progress!
This transformation started back in January-see how it looked before and our "Phase 1" updates here: blog.jennasuedesign.com/2019/0...
Followed by our DIY wood steps: blog.jennasuedesign.com/2019/0...
And get all the details on the finishing touches and links to sources from today's reveal: blog.jennasuedesign.com/2019/0...
A few of my favorite details:
Black paint: Valspar Cracked Pepper
White trim: Sherwin Williams Extra White
Planters: low.es/2JbPx2y
Rocking chairs: low.es/2WdWP9O

Couldn't even see finished product! I like to look at everything slowly. You're too good to go so fast. Let us appreciate your talent.

The transformation is stunning, but for us older followers, will you be doing another video that gives us time to take in all of your beautiful hard work. We like to take time in your creative self to appreciate it all😊.

@@JennaSue I agree to slow it down. I enjoy the creativity of your videos as well as your blog posts and tutorials. But this one was too fast to absorb very much. I love the images, though - looking good!

A tad slower would have worked really well for me. But overall, that porch looks great!

Awesome job, you two, plus I loved the video. It had sort of a claymation feel to it that made me smile. Cheers, Ardith

I'm very curious why you didn't go with black instead of the stain for the railing?! Seemed like the obvious choice to me, because it would have fit to nicely with the windows and the rest. I would have also painted the House number black to make it pop (plus make it easier to find for your future guests)

Great video - once I slowed it down enough to see what was going on. I enjoy timelapse, but sometimes it's just too fast to really see what's happening.

Agree. Hoping this is just a preview and that there will be another video. Although what I did see looked great.

Wow! That was a fast timelapse. I could barely see it. In general, it looks great. The black door really makes a statement. The shrubbery bed are always going to be in pots, right? I think it's a pavement under them....I think. I couldn't really tell since the video was moving a little too fast. Great job with the paint job.

So cool, how much on material did it cost to make that deck railing?

Love it but can you please make a slower version? I watched like 4 times and had to paused too.
