Someone on Google said DIY airbrush medium can be made w 2/3 distilled water and 1/3 rubbing alcohol. Never tried it myself before but this could be another diy option to experiment with
Can you make your own mix with normal acrylics paint then? I still have some old acrylic paint (normal ones, not golden high flow) and I really want to use them. If I mix it with rubbing alcohol and distilled water will it properly work? With only normal acrylic paint not so much I found out yesterday evening.

Hi Amy! This is an off topic question, but i was wondering if you bought your printable shrink film in bulk off of Amazon, or can I find it somewhere else? Thanks, love your work!
You can at least make 23 pens out of the 4 fl oz high flow paint. $1.75 for the refillable marker. Around $2.37 per pen not including the medium. Since so little medium is used, let’s say $2.50 per pen at the most. Since they’re dual tip with fine point and extra fine point, no need to buy separately. Plus they’re refillable. Average white posca pens are around $3-5 so yes I would say they’re more cost effective. Of course the price will range slightly with different colors but overall I would say it’s more cost effective.
That would work, but the reason why fluid acrylic works better is bc it has a higher pigment load than even higher quality regular acrylic paint. You risk the opacity and possible streakiness if you use cheap acrylic paint. Will it work? Yes. Will it work well? Not really. It would be the difference between using a molotow paint marker and a cheap unbranded one. You might get lucky, but you probably won't.
