I think his work is to piss people off and I think you can piss three times the people off if you use their fold out table space ;-) I am actually surprised how that thing passed the security if even a bottle of water is too dangerous.
@@rainerzufall689 if you watch the inside out video then you would know that they did tell him that it would have to go in three different bins but he said that it wont work so they let him through with it
Yeah, but those screen are running on CPU power, they are not using the GPU, meaning that the CPU is working its ass of on display stuff, tasks it is not optimized to perform.
Great improv', handy man skills. You basically built something that performs almost the exact same functions of the Razer, but at only a tiny fraction of the cost for the Valerie. Excellent stuff.
Mannn!! I'm so glad you channel is blowing up aha, you seem like you are really putting in the extra work ... as a technician its so much fun seeing you grow! honestly! :3
That was perfect that you used an older laptop for this video because at least you didn't put that laptop to waste, you reused it and some people might say that older laptops are useless and worthless but to be honest, this video is a perfect example of what people should do with their older laptops because each year, people either throw away their laptops (which is wasting, especially if our laptops are in perfect condition), put them for sale even if nobody would buy them, use them for parts, put them to waste, and many other stupid things but I think that even if our old laptops are worth anything, they are perfect for doing upgrades on and modifying
Suck and etc. are childish words. But when I travel, I use iPad pro 12 with my macbook, and an app called duet display. Works like a charm actually. And of course, I use it for busines. If I wanted to game, I wouldn't bought macbook in the first place.
+rizathivax The laptop has a AMD E2-3200 APU, which is actually pretty capable of running multiple displays, and even video editing. (At least in Vegas Pro 11). I used a E2-3010 or similar for a while with two screens and even with the apu, GTA V ran OK at 30ish fps (800x600) which is really impressive for a dual core, let alone it a APU also. :) Although the USB bandwidth is probably a problem though yes. :/
John Koroliov Hahaha while I was watching this vid, I thought maybe linus is gonna to make something like this. But looking bad ass, i mean he paid about 80k for harddrives :D
Nice project, but there is maybe another way to stick them together without using de door's plates, cause now it's irreversable can't disassamble. By the way I think in plane the only people who lets you open the both screens are those from What's Inside :p
i tried drilling my laptop to attach hinges , but now it's showing black screen and white big dot on the opposite side of drilling spot.? can i convert it in headphone jack.?
YOGESH You drilled the LCD and now you need to replace it, if not the whole laptop if you hit other parts. And you can't 'convert' a hole into a headphone jack, you'd need to create the drivers to support the extra port, as well as having a 3D printer/as well as extra components just to transfer data from the computer to the headphones themselves. Just buy a USB to audio jack converter if they exist
Hey Zack, think it would be great idea to DIY the back part of both monitors to the slimmest casing, resolder the usb hubs to a compact space, and add an inward hinge instead?
I will just use a product called "Mounties". I still like it though. I have a challenge if you can do it, dual screen tablets. It's like a Lenovo Yoga except it's got 2 actual screens (2nd screen not just keyboard/trackpad).
Great idea. But you should use Titanium Hinge to reduce the weight issue. Yea, titanium hinge can be a little expensive. Also, gluing those hinges to the laptop and can't remove them, not a good idea. Now Mobile Pixels, Offiyaa, Slider offered dual monitor set up. But none are touch screens. I would like to have all touch screen.
Or you could build some sort of portable case which levels up your laptop while supporting your monitors simultaneously. It doesnt make sense to use a triple monitor setup with the laptop keyboard either, the side screens are too far to the side to look at. I think thats a smarter way to avoid damaging your laptop :/
I think you should take this a step further and use 2 portable 15.6 inch 4K Sibolan moniters & a 2018 4K Razer Blade 15.6 and use only the black hinges. My idea :) thanks!
That laptop looks old enough to have USB 2.0 but not USB 3.0. Am I correct? If so, that's great that those monitors work fine with one (1) USB 2.0 port per monitor. I may do the same thing with my Lenovo T420. Thanks for posting!
