In this video I am showing you step by step how to make a quilted cross body handbag :)

overlocker/serger: amzn.to/3tzxLO8 (this is not the exact one I use but an equivalent one)
Sewing machine: I use the "Privileg 1511 Super-Nutzstich" which I think is no longer available, however this seems like a good and very inexpensive alternative: amzn.to/3HRsXaC

LOVE IT! If you can recreate the COS quilted bag. Its not being sold anymore and its being sold insanely high. I thought why not remake it. Their quilt is scrunched and I have no clue how to achieve that. i bet that is a great video idea.

Hello dear, Thank you for sharing this. Do you think if I use expanded polyethylene foam instead of the quilt will create the same puffy effect well? Thank you. Aggie

Hi Aggie :) yes I think that would work just as well, as long as you are able to feed the foam (depending on thickness) trough the sewing machine. Also, it would work best if you sandwich the foam between the fashion fabric and some thin inner lining. :)

pretty much any fabric that you want :) I used faux leather but you can use denim, canvas, corduroy, upholstery fabric - any fabric that is a little more hard wearing
