Tina, I once saw a woman on RU-vid create a come and go spot in her garage. It had spots for returns, dry cleaning, reusable bags, exchanges, odd recycling, etc. I wondered if you could DIY something like that in your entryway for people who don’t have garages that will accommodate it. Your entryway is one of my favorite episodes. So smart!

If you get a disco ball (or even if you don’t- you could always move your diy) I highly suggest putting it in a room that gets evening light. My mom has a few in her sitting room and every evening as the sun goes down the whole room lights up with white lights (reflections) and it’s so much fun and really a sight to see!

My favourite is the basement by far the best place to hang out. You utilized every inch of this house. Keep going and i love you started incorporating colour in every space. What a journey! I've watched every video since LA, but there are definitely some projects I forgot about and have to rewatch. I love that you added the 1-year and 6-month updates on some of the "shortcut" upgrades like the beadboard wallpaper and contact paper on the vanity. Most times we never hear about how DIYs hold up so it's so helpful to know!

For the chalk wall, I would recommend taking a picture of it, print it out and hang it somewhere in that room! That way you get to keep the cute memory, but can also be more creative with that huge wall

I aspire to have a home that looks like this. We're currently renting and I can't do any permanent changes. And also we're moving out in August of 2023 so I don't want to spend too much money on it. ngl the basement was a missed opportunity for a coral accent curtain wall With the chalk board wall I think you should keep it, and when your hosting or something exciting is happening you can make a "mural" on it, it could really bring a lot of life to the space if you did that

i've never heard it called a "powder bathroom" before. i've heard of "powder room" and "bathroom", but "powder bathroom" seems like an oxymoron. a powder room is a room without a bath, and a bathroom has a bath (which is why if you don't have a bath, it's considered only a "half bath").
