Thank you for your time. You are are wonderful Mother , showing your Son that woman can be very self sufficient in life. He will grow up to be very respectful of women. Plus that it’s a smart thing by first trying to do it yourself and save money. Great little helper. Proud of you both. GWET (Grace Wins Every Time).GOD Bless!
Also I just wanted to say that I watched several videos and I was so appreciative of the fact that you were the only one to mention about not touching the bulb with your hands. Great tip. Thanks again..
It sure wasn't. When I first tried to they charged me $50. Then I went to NTB and they tried to scam me for $96 plus the bulb. I said we will figure it out and we did. Thanks for watching
very nice video just a question i 2013 chevy traverse why change just one bulb cos like one month later i had to change the left side bulb. so now went i have this problem again i opt both bulb. it like get shoe you dont buy one you get a pairs
Very good question. This video was recorded on January 21, 2020. I did not want to buy both because of low income issues. The other light (driver side) did not go out until October 22, 2021. I clearly remember the date because it was the night before we took a road trip. So it lasted almost 2 years. This time I did replace both because I changed the brightness/clear lights vs yellow basic. The set was over $40. I hope I answered your awesome question. 😊
I apologize for the late response. This is something channel so I don't really monitor the comments. If it's an Acadia it should be the same way. I don't have a GMC so I would know. All I know is Acadia and traverse are almost identical to each other. So it could work. Let me know if you were able to do it yourself. Thanks
i used a bungee cord to hold the plastic piece away hook one end to top hole run the other end thru slot in wheel i wrapped it twice to shorten it then hooked other end of bungee thru lower hole!
Yes. Get a million views & subscribers. I was reluctant to believe it was easy to do it your way and I almost tried taking off the top plastic cover under the hood. But my stubborn ass was wrong & you were right. Just swapped out both low beam bulbs on my wife's Traverse with the help of your video. Thank uoy
@@LEADER_of_CLANSE Easy as 123. Its a tight space. Id Definitely recommend using long sleeve shirts so that you dont scratch your arms up while reaching in there. Thanks for your video.
Love you both for this. And it’s wonderful for a mama to be handy and to teach her son. You guided this handy mama and saved me $100. Plus you pumped me up cause I love doing things on my own. Let’s go!!
I don't remember anymore. But if you go to your local auto store they can pull it up for you based on your year of vehicle. Sorry I couldn't help on that part.
JDGamer 7688 thanks, yeah that’s what I did. The light went out , that day went to o’Reillys , picked up two H11 bulbs . The next day the old light came back on , the passenger side , just like you guys. So I wonder if it’s a common issue with this car passenger side headlight.wife’s car.👍🏼. Thanks buddy
@@donjohnson5625 you might want to check if the wiring is loose. Take it out and see if maybe if came out of place and thats why its just turning off and on. My opinion is you just replace it. Thanks for replying back.
Thank you so much for the help. I will be doing my replacement later today and wanted to know if it was the same for the driver’s side headlight. Thank you!
I hope that other videos in your video was really thorough and detailed. This is a great video for my wife and I. Oh And I like the fact that your son was helping you! You guys are great!!!
You cant just pull the old light out you gotta pinch it down by the wire to release it. When you are pitting the new light back inside the headlight, you can look from the outside in, thru the headlight, to help you guide it back in. Oh and dont forget to put the dust cover back on like i did. I had to remove the screws all over again. There was colorful language.
@@LEADER_of_CLANSE you both are really sweet... And by the way, I changed my headlight after watching your video. See what a difference you brought to me by saying my money...
Had no idea when I went in, otherwise I would've watched you first. "We have to remove the bumper. That will be $168 for labor alone." Well now I know for next time. Will be doing it myself, thanks to you. Fortunately I waited long enough when one light went out, that the other went out too, so I only paid the "labor" once to have both replaced. At least there was that. :-D Thanks for saving me $ in the future! I just need to find someone to hold the light for me. That's a job not to be taken lightly. Lucky you, you have someone who's clearly an expert at it.
Thank you Paula for your amazing compliments 😊 I was once over charged for the service too. I learned to do it myself and now I do it literally in 5 mins.
Great video. Made it a simple process. Very cool helper you have. One note: instead of a torque or T20 screwdriver, the screws on my Chevy were phillips type screws.
Well after trying to do it myself and then realizing you can't just take it out I watched the video on how to take it out and the dude practically took the whole front end of the car off I didn't want to do that and ended up losing my **** mind smashing my way through the front of the headlight housing and getting my bulb in that way man I wish I would have watched this video first.
I just want you to know that your video is a life saver! I did exactly what you did and changed my bulbs myself! Thank you so much for showing how to do this. Firestone was charging me $140 to change one headlight! I changed 2 and only paid $29.99 for the bulbs 😊
Wow Britni! I'm so happy we got to help you from far away! Thank you for the comment and feedback. We will be making more videos soon. You can follow me (mom) on IG @LINDATX87 I will update video uploads there. This is my son's account. Thanks again for watching! 💙
You have a great little boy there, a very polite helper! Also, I watched about 4 other videos on how to do this, and yours was the best: more detail, like 'turn it left or right', wear gloves regarding the oil on our skin, 'hear the click to know it's in' and such. Very nice. Thanks!
Hi Daniel, I am glad you enjoyed and found the video helpful. I had watched videos myself and did not find any this detailed. I just want everyone to save money like we do. Thanks for watching 😊
Thank you. I was gonna take my car in to the dealer. They quoted me 120.00 to replace headlight. They said they had to take bumber off to get to headlight. You saved me a lot of money.
