Hello Elle! You sure can, but our Photo Cropper sizes your images to fit our molds and bezels, so you may need to trim them down or enlarge them to fit if your pendants are not the exact size. +Little Hawk Items For Sale In my opinion, the best option for printing photos is a top-feed (never a U-feed) Canon inkjet. The photo print quality is still better than you'll get with any affordable color laser printer, and they require less maintenance. Inkjet also gives you more flexibility with media. You can print all of our Special Photo Papers and art papers, while laser printers tend to have a harder time with thicker photo papers, and can't handle specialty papers like our Clear Photo Film because they use heat to set the toner, which warps media like this. Also, although they're a bit more expensive, stick with the branded ink cartridges for best quality. I hope that helps :)

Hello Angee! You can use any paper you'd like, the advantage of printing on the Little Windows Special Photo Papers is that they're waterproof, they make a permanent bond with your inkjet or laser printer inks, and they're really low bubbling. To test how your paper will work, put a scrap in water for 15-20 minutes. Whatever it looks like in the water, it should look about the same in resin. If you want you can seal it with a couple of layers of Mod Podge Glossy for protection. Hope that helps :)

Hello, our resin will set a bit faster with heat, but you need to be very careful not to overheat. It's best to allow it to cure for the normal 12 hours if you have the time :)

Hello! If your paper won't stay flat when you dome, you can either mount it onto a stiffer sheet, like cardstock or a decorative paper, or stick 2 pieces back to back. Hello! If you see the drip before your resin fully sets (9-12 hours), you may be able to peel it off without damaging your domed piece. If it has already hardened there are several things you can try to either remove the drip or camouflage it, depending on the size and shape of the drip, and whether or not you plan to finish off the back of your domed piece. If it's a small drip and you plan to stick that piece to another surface, or mount it into a bezel, then you'll just want to flatten the drip using an exacto knife or similar blade (or you can sand it down). If you plan to dome the back side you can try peeling the drip off, or trim it as low as you can first. The new layer of resin should disguise the drip, especially if you add a colorant to the resin. Hello Ameyy, you can try other resins, but each has a different chemistry and you may not be so pleased with the results. Have fun experimenting :)

Most industrial-type resins won't work well for this type of application for one or more of these reasons: 1) It's a toxic formula you won't want to have touching your skin, much less breathing, 2) you have to mix a large batch to get it to set properly, 3) many floor resins are not color stable, meaning they yellow fairly quickly, you may not notice this on a floor with a thin coating, but it'll be pretty obvious over a photo if it loses color and clarity, 4) Floor coatings are made to flow easily so they have a very low surface tension. This technique relies upon a high surface tension to create the rounded dome that stops at the edge of the shape you're cutting out. +Blanca Longoria Hello Bianca! We have 3 kinds of Special Photo Paper at little-windows.com, the single-sided thinner white paper works well in laser printers.
