Because from the start, you divided the waist measurement by 8. So was it the actual measurement (24) you used when cutting the flare or the 3inches you got after dividing the actual measurement by 8

Hi there, I just wanted to confirm something! When you created the basic bodice, I believe you divided the waist into four. Then, did you further divide the waist again into eight for the pinafore top? I'd really appreciate your clarification on this. Thank you!
