I am not sure how useful these will be in a music video since they are not nearly as bright as the professional tube lights but if anyone makes one and uses it in a video please tag me! I am interested to see these in video projects since I haven't really had the clients to use it in. They are still really cool to just have in your studio space/ office.
**side note- if you are able to find LED strips that are higher than 5V the lights will be brighter, but make sure your power supply matches the strips voltage to avoid burning the strip out.
I will be looking for better strips to make a brighter tube I just have not found any.
Camera: Sony A7sii
Lens: Tamron 28-75mm f2.8
Main Key Light: Godox SL-W60

Hmmm how are you using a 12-24V controller with 5V adapter? It's even saying on the Amazon page (Not for 5V WS2812B) ?

Hey! thanks for catching that! I used a 5v controller but for some reason when I copy the link for the 5v over from Amazon it pulls up the 12-24v.

Hi there I really envy you guys in the states I cannot buy the protector tubes T8 or T12 in the UK I can get them from Germany the T8 4 foot tube with P&P cost about £30 .00 (that is about $30.00 ) that is just for a 4 foot tube. I do it different from you. I only use the T8 tube and the stoppers . A stopper on one end and a flashlight in the other use a bright flashlight 1in diameter light fits perfectly into a T8 tube to defuse the tube and spread the light just rub the tube with sandpaper the more you rub the more you defuse I also use coloured sleeves over the tubes this gives you different coloured tubes. PS you do not fix the flashlight to the tube. There is a guy called Eric Pare check him out on you tube what he does would be incredible on stage. STAY SAFE. all the best. Barry

The amount of LEDs per meter; Usually shown as SMD30 or SMD60. In his links the Alitove strip is 5meters and has 300LEDS which is 60 per meter. Each seller shows this differently just double check if you choose a different strip.
