This is the second time you read my mind....The first time was the fold over cross body bag. My store bought one just fall apart and I was thinking about making one my own (don't want to spend another $80 USD for a bag that doesn't last), and BANG here came your tutorial. Last night I spent the whole night searching for pen organizer that is not zip-up nor roll-up but also allows shorter pen to be easy to grab, and I found nothing (thought about making your slide pen pouch and switch the zipper to flap, but it's too big and I am not good at altering measurements). Then BANG here comes your tutorial again!!!!
This would be a good thing for my youngest son to put in his back pack when he goes to a job .He works for General Dynamics doing IT work. Sometimes he might need to write things down.
Followed your video and modify the pocket to make a pouch for circular knitting needles. Just what I needed. Love your videos. Your pattern and instructions always turn out better than other videos or even patterns bought on Etsy.
To reduce some of the bulk in the seam between the zipper side and the pencil side, you can trim off some of the seam allowance. I will be making this soon. Thanks!
