I would wrap the stems with floral tape and green part at the bottom of the roses and add silk leaves or modelling chocolate leaves. I might even use modelling chocolate to make the roses.

Thank you for your interest. Yes, you can add water base food colour to enhance the roses. Add the gel colour to the condensed milk first for easier handling then mix in milk powder.
I have no chance storing them because they do not last long at home. 😋 Since chocolate covered strawberries stay fresh 1-2 days max, I guess you don’t have to worry about the pastillas getting hard. With regards to storing, you can keep them in an airtight container or individually wrap in saran wrap and refrigerate.
Oh hi, I have not tried making the pastillas ahead of time before. But basing on my experience while working on the roses, the pastillas dried up fast..so It’s best to prepare the same day.

Maski anong food grade gloves pwedeng gamitin, yung gamit ko nabili sa Costco. Kung ang pastillas ibinalot sa strawberry ay 1-2 days pero kung ito ay 'as is' lamang, pwede itong magtagal ng ilang buwan may butter man o wala.

Thanks for your interest in doing the recipe. That’s the drawback in working with pastillas, they dry up easily. Try to cover them as much as possible and reconstitute by gradually adding small amount of condensed milk and butter until you reach a pliable and soft like fondant texture. I hope this helps.
