I dont like that stop block for one reason. To move it out of the way you have to completely remove it.

Hello. This was an excellent and very elucidated presentation. I learned a lot. You should make one for router stand and installing a lifter. I followed very well but at the end when you installed the movable fence I got lost. How do you move the fence and lock it ? Please explain. Thanks

Good job on the router fence!! I want to make that one but thinking about adding inserts behind the adjustable fence faces to use it as a jointer.

The “Skim cut on the table saw…”. I’m wondering how to do that since the side against the fence is unknown with possible squeeze out of glue, etc?? I don’t have a Jointer to true sides so I’m wondering how that is accomplished. Cut one side, flip it and cut the other?

Nicely done! @1:55 What table saw is that? I ask because im curious as to whether that riving knife is stock, DIY, or aftermarket?

Why restrict your bit opening to just 2 1/8"? Seems at least 2 5/8" would have left you with the option to run raised panel bits if you ever so choosed to.

Excited to be working on a router table next! I see you’ve got the triton tra001, told my wife that’s what I want for my bday/father’s day this year! Can’t wait!

Just came across you vid searching for a way to integrate a router table with my Delta/Rockwell contractor saw. I bought a Delta's T3 fence system to replace the original fence. Just wondering why you wouldn't use the existing table saw fence?

I guess I could have built into the existing fence but it would have been hard to incorporate dust collection into it then

Good Lord.. That’s a Great Makita Miter Saw. I was just reminded of how big a foot print those older saws have. Good vid kid!

Yea is is a good saw but you’re right, I’d love one that doesn’t have such a big footprint, the bench I made for it has to be too wide to fit it

@@macsworkshop Yep that’s why I waited 10 years to build my Paulk Workbench’s yes 10 years!! I have a LS 1019 now. Snagged a deal on Craigslist 475 American still in box!! LS is 365 MM From the Front of fence to the wall. FESTOOL is 360. Speaking of FESTOOL we have had issues in America with FESTOOL motors burning up. I don’t think they covered everything as far as 50hz to 60hz conversion. My CT VAC is fine but it has a switch you can change it from European to USA however there’s a pretty large array of electronics under the hood in that vac.

Thanks Steve 😊 I’m in the middle of editing it but it’s been bad weather here so I haven’t been able to record an intro/outro because of the rain I’ll hopefully have it done within a week

@@macsworkshop I do have a question. What is the clear plastic you use when doing glue-ups? I have never seen anyone else use something like it.
@macsworkshop
@macsworkshop Год назад
It’s just a roll of plastic I picked up from a craft store we have in New Zealand called spotlight A lot of woodworkers use a formica bench to do glue ups on as the glue doesn’t stick to formica, but I don’t have space for that so it’s just a roll of plastic 😆
