I’m sharing my secrets to making a beautiful ruffle scrunchie! This is my favourite way of sewing ruffle scrunchies because the result is a seamless and professional-looking scrunchie. These ruffle scrunchies are a really fun twist on the “regular scrunchie”.

Piece of fabric: 75cm X 17cm
Piece of elastic: 18cm

Can I use a 1inch elastic to make scrunchie

Yes you can, just bear in mind that you will need to leave a bigger opening for the elastic to go through.

Which needle is used for that fabric please ?

I think I just used a regular sewing needle that was already in my machine! However for sheer fabrics a sharp small needle works well! I hope that helps!
