This is a really good tutorial! I've watched some by people that don't clearly explain/show what they are doing and you did such a good job. I have also never seen the method for sewing together the ends. I'm definitely going to be trying it out!
Thanks for this video instruction and thanks to the other scrunchie video people. I made a bunch for a couple of grade school girls this Christmas. All I knew about them was that they had long hair so I made a bunch and put them on an empty paper towel holder. I asked their cousin if they liked them and he said that they actually started arguing over who got which one until they noticed that there were two of each kind. So I guess they were a hit.

This tutorial was the most helpful one so far the only thing I had a problem with is the for the large scrunchie what is the elastic measurements or is it the same as a small one

Hi, If you used another fabric that be thicker than chiffon, I suggest cutting a strip of scrap fabric to be 12 cm wide by 50 -60 cm long. Hope this can help.
