*Note: How much fabric will you need?! I used about 2.5 - 3 yards of cotton for my dress. This is of course dependent on how gathered you want your dress, as well as how long you want your dress. I always buy a biiiit more fabric than I need just to be safe, so I'd aim for 3 yards!

I found this to be incredibly difficult! Especially connecting the band to the first tier...I've made several tiered dresses and have never had such a hard time.

If you wanted to add a lining to the tiers, do you have any recommendations? or any tutorials you might have for adding a "slip lining' or something - I might risk it and just wear a slip if I need to, but I am curious if you have any thoughts!

quick question-I’m following along and at the “pinning the straps on” part-well when I slipped my bodice piece on it was not snug on me but really loose around- (yours looks like it fits perfect ) I know we added 2 inches of ease-do u think I should take it in now or will I need that ease when it all comes together? Hope that made sense -
