Hi Teresa! I love that crackle effect! So so pretty. And the banner is adorable. I appreciate so much how clear your instructions are, and showing us how to use things we may already have. You are such a sweetheart dear one! Sending love you way! 🥰
You make every project look so easy! Can’t get enough of your videos!!! Love that fall banner! It’s so simple yet adds such a a nice touch to your decor! 💕
Hi Teresa! 😊 Welcome back! Really liked both projects...the soft colors of the Crackle Pumpkins and the Banner looks so nice displayed...as usual very nice ideas! 🥰
Hi Teresa. Great projects! The crackle effect is a great way to continue along with the "shabby chic" look. Love what you did with the pumpkins and the banner is so cute! Always look forward to your next video. Love and Peace XO
Turned out beautiful! I Love the crackle medium product, I have used it a lot. The drop cloth fabric is another favorite of mine and I love your banner. Your staging is always perfect as well!! TFS! Have a Blessed Day ❤️❤️
Hi Teresa. Love the crackled pumpkins and how you accessorized them. The garland was great. TYFS and it surely was a Fall Decorating Inspiration. Have a Great rest of the week. Til next time My Dear Take Care. (Pauline S)
With crackle medium only apply one even coat after the medium has dried. To produce larger, more prominent cracks apply the top coat in a thicker layer. (Keep in mind that thicker coats of paint will increase dry times.) For finer cracks, apply your top paint coat more thinly. For random and sporadic crackling, vary your brushstrokes and randomly brush the paint on. Your diys turned out absolutely beautiful and I love all of your diys! Thank you for always sharing your beautiful creations 💗
You are a pro! Your projects are very creative and you are a master at displaying vignettes. So beautiful! And....I dearly love listening to your beautiful southern accent. So calming. Thanks for sharing a well edited video. You are awesome. 🎃🌻🧡🎃
So very cute and easy! I will have to try that. You just seem so sweet I wish you were my next door neighbor and best friend! lol. I like to craft too but none of my friends do. I am older (65) so maybe that is why but it would be great to have a best friend who could teach me some things. Love your channel!
Thanks so much, Charlotte! 😊 This is the sweetest thing anyone has ever said to me 💚 Wished we were neighbors too but we can always be great friends. I will try my best to teach you some things! Bet you can teach me some things too. Much love to you, my sweet friend and thanks again for your sweet note.
Hi Teresa, loved the video! I really want to do the crackle pumpkins. I think I have some of the crackle medium in my stash. Love the fall banner too! I have no stencils maybe I could glue leaves on or another idea. Thank you for sharing your beautiful ideas . 🧡🎃🌻
I love everything you do thank you for sharing. You can only give one coat after you put crackle medium on if you want large cracks the more coats you put on the less cracks you see hope that helps God bless
Teresa, the key to the crackle finish is to load your brush with paint and attempt to only go over an area once, this creates the best crackle in my experience.
I also used crackle years ago and I realized you can only put your paint your finish coat One Direction. Otherwise you pull the paint off. I think maybe you put too many coats of crackle on maybe not just a thought. I love all your ideas oh why not try putting your banner on a wall or over the top of a window? Can't wait to see what you do next I also used the drop cloth as a slipcover for my sofa turned out great very shabby chic.
Wow, just found your channel, love it and both these diy projects, not to mention your charming accent. Also was wondering where you got the beautiful pink throw with the long fringe draped on a chair. and yes subscribed immediately.
Thanks so much for subscribing and a big welcome to our channel! I featured that fringed throw in this video and the link to it is in the description box! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GA3BxdGpffI.html
I love all of these and y'all too I crackle and love doing it The trick is to make sure you don't go back over what you have already crackled with your final step or your paint will pull off A thin coat of crackle produces fine cracks and a thick coat will give you thick cracks Now where is tater Did something happen to him ? Love to all xo
Love to you, Sharon! I was telling Ben the other day, I had missed you. Hope you are doing good. Tater made an appearance on my newest video. You know she's got to be on the camera! Thank you!
I watched others use the crackle medium and they sai you can't go over the first coat of white paint so you have to put it on to where you don't have to keep applying more paint.
