In this video I show you how to make conditioning and soothing shampoo bars with botanical ingredients like essential oils and flower waters🌼🌼 Music by Anna Landström; driftwood, shades of grey, wonder where, song for teddy
I wish you would sell these! i cant see myself every buying these ingredients and making these soaps - irrespective of how tempting they are. Please sell your creations!
Hello! Thank you for the wonderful video! I tried making these shampoo bars and they did not dry even after a week, I live in a super humid climate.. should I try discounting some of the hydrosol?
Pretty shampoo bars. I noticed you melted ingredients here instead of leaving some as flakes. How long does this last when used everyday on average use?
Hi! Thank’s for your videos! I have a question: does the amount of oil suppress the condensing properties (btms, cetyl alcolol). What will happen if you use more or less oil?
I know that all soap cleans scalp ... the most important thing is that after using it i should make sure does not cause drying or itching my scalp later
Hi. Thank u so much for this video. I wud love to try this. But unfortunately murmuru butter & hydrolates r not available in my country. Even it wud be quite expensive if I order online from abroad. Any substitutes to those ingredients plz. In my country only cocoa & Shea butters r available. Plz reply. One more request plz make a video on how to make whipped cream soap from scratch. Foaming whip bath/butter is not available too in my country. Thank u 😊
Bcuz of Lung issues, I can't use sci Or Coco betaine, Non of that, are there any substitutions, or if u can't say I understand... You've worked hard for these forms, Tyia
Thank you! All the ingredients used were acidic or neutral so I didn't find the need to test🙂 If you use alkaline surfactants the pH can be brought down with a citric acid solution
Thank you for sharing.. I am looking at these ingredients and wondering how much of those powders are synthetic? Sorry to ask but half of them I have never heard of..
Is there a difference between regular shampoo and this one? And I'm not sure if botanicals will look great in hair if you won't be able to wash it off. But, love your soap videos)
This shampoo is sls free and more conditioning than regular shampoo. The botanicals are just meant to decorate the bar, definitely not meant to stay in the hair🙂 Thanks!
Hi, lovely tutorial. I enjoy watching your videos. I learned a lot from soap videos. I have a Question, in soaps we use all-natural, organic ingredients, but here I saw many different ingredients used, I've no idea of these. Are they natural or chemical-based? I really need to know. Thank you
Hi dear thank you for sharing 😊 I made a shampoo bar not this one, but when I pass it into my hair and rinse I feel my hair tangle and rough, do you have any idea why?
Hi, This is Chandra from India.I love watching your video .I have made some of your soap, they are gorgeous. Thank you .In shampoo bar can we use same amount of extract instead of hydrosol ,also instead of murmure butter can we use Shea butter. Thank you once again 😘
Thank you, I'm glad to hear that! I don't think it's the best idea, I think extracts have lower usage rates. Shea butter will probably be fine just a little different :)
I have been looking for this recipe for so very long. Is there some other ingredient i can use to replace Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate with. Can I use more SCI powder instead?
You can replace it with another powdered surfactant at your own risk. It's not a good idea to replace with more sci because it would go over the maximum allowed usage rate.
If you want to melt BTMS, put it in the oven at about 175-200 degrees F. Or put it directly on the stove, but watch it carefully. BTMS is very hard to melt.
