One of the great joys of being able to design with electronics is the ability to make your own custom tools. DJ recently picked up a CNC router and in order to make his life a wee bit easier, he’s designed and built a pendant that will allow him to more comfortably, and accurately set up his parts in the machine. Cool and very useful project. Also lays down a basis for anyone to extrapolate to any custom controller they may need. Great job!

A tip is to add another button that "zero's" the axis you are currently working (aka moving with the pendent). So you dont have to zero all axis and then go to the computer and press zero. You can just stand by the piece you a going to machine and zero one axis at the time from the pendent. Also really help full if you are machining none square pieces. Other then that, nice video and beautiful pendent. Peace out Vidstig

That unit should be able to produce basic G-Code, I would have thought that a UDOO RYZEN Bolt V8 would be the way to go as it is easier to write 80586 assembly language and you have hardware floating point built in.
