DIY SIDE DISCHARGE CHUTE HACK!!! 

If you have trouble cutting overgrown grass, do this!! It makes cutting tall grass a BREEZE. I just tried this and it changed my life lol

Thanks, got a shorter bungee cord so I didn't have to tie knot in it but it worked like a charm.

I've done this and find the grass sprays wild (about 5ft high and up to 10ft to the right). It works in a pinch but definitely not any cleaner for me.

this is the definitive hack for an overgrown lawn. it turns the mower into a green snow blower. shit goes everywhere, but when its knee high what are you gonna do?

Small piece of advice, there are grass deflectors that you can attach to your lawnmower's chute. Just saying.
