Well, I´m writing you from Spain... I´m a Forestry Engineer and I love bricolaje... I use to make a lot of tings at home... tables, drawers, etc and I can tell you something: you are the first person tahyt goes directly to the work without unuseful words or extra explanations... easy, clear, and very "prefessional".. ¡I wish my girlfriend knows... well just the half you know. You are really fantastic. Thank you... and of course you are a very beautiful woman and that´s another advantaje.... it´s very different if you get unknown workers... I wish everybody can watch more videos with such a fantastic person as you are. Thank you again.

Hi so I looked at their website and I didnt see any panels with bronze oak color. The only ones they have are natural oak, and it’s says it’s unfinished meaning I still have to stain it after paying 250 dollars for a small panel?

im doing a campervan conversion, what surfaces will these stick too
@_OhAbode
@_OhAbode Год назад
Any! You can fix them with screws (self tapping metal screws will work into the van framework) or no more nails, however with the vibration when driving, I’m Not 100% confident how long they will stay stuck for. I’ve seen loads of people use them in vans! They are thick and heavy though so bear that in mind as with van conversions, you need to be mindful about the weight of what you’re putting in as not to affect suspension and overall drag when driving it. Are you looking at them as a form of insulation or simply aesthetic?
@rodgerq
@rodgerq 2 года назад
How thick is the felt backing? It looks pretty sturdy and stiff for felt. Or is it a stiffer board with a felt covering? Nice video, we are considering these at the moment.
@_OhAbode
@_OhAbode 2 года назад
I think the felt is either 9 or 12mm, it’s def sturdy and just dense thick felt z
@rodgerq
@rodgerq 2 года назад
@@_OhAbode awesome, cheers for the response! I've ordered a sample. I'd like to make them myself but it's maybe easier just buying.
@_OhAbode
@_OhAbode 2 года назад
@@rodgerq you would save a fair bit of money! The felt backing isn’t totally needed, the strips are just mdf with veneer on the front, so totally doable for maybe 2m width worth by 2.4m tall, for about £70
@rodgerq
@rodgerq 2 года назад
@@_OhAbode yeah this is my thinking. And 8x4 sheet of 12mm oak veneer MDF cut into 25mm strips would give 42 strips so plenty coverage for my application which is just a metre wide feature in the centre of one wall and another metre around a corner in the opposite side of the room.

@@boboman67 oh okay! I wouldn’t have thought it would work. It would certainly cause a lot of damage when it comes to removal. Screw holes are easy to fill, whole boards of plasterboard, not so much! This is the method this manufacturer recommends :)

I don’t think they will make a big difference, I believe they are for improving the acoustics within the room i.e reducing reverberation rather than sound transfer to and from another room

There are loads of problem with the install method in this video. Do yourself a favour and watch the one that the manufacturer put out ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_0lgZDt96mE.html If you are wondering how are these installed with just screws and no plugs, the screws are designed for the panels, they don't need to cary a lot of weight and there are 15 per panel.
