How to make soy wax candles yourself? In this DIY tutorial I am making soy wax candles in mason jars. I added essential oils, insence and crystals to the candles. I coloured the candles with wax crayons. These candles can now be used as tools to enhance your meditation experience. The crystals and incense serve as a protection for your home.

Hello. I enjoyed watching your video. I’m just starting to get into adding stones to my candles. One suggestion would be to adhere your wicks to the bottom of your jars to prevent your wick from shifting and causing the flame to get close to the jar. It could cause the jar to crack or cause a fire. High heat glue gun or wick stickers work well.

Crystals get hot n melt dowb, i get afraud will they break or burn

HI Rekha, that is a valid concern. Make sure to use crytals with a high melting point. The crystal may get damaged but it won't catch on fire it is not a hasard such as plastic or event dry flowers are.

How much essential oils did you use ? Ratio wise

Hi, thanks for your question. For me the ratio depends on the essential oil I am using. Lemongrass is very strong so I went with round about 4ml (80 drops) per 300ml melted wax.
