Cool, I'm thinking of making one out of Aluminium to see how it performs - I'm having issues with salt water and 3d printed parts atm. Water is partially absorbed by the plastic and when it dries it leaves salt deposits all over it! Its super annoying and can also jam moving parts. If it works out alright I'll make a couple and one with your name on it!
@@OceanicMatt yeah i can understand that. my mate has a huge 3d printing set up in his garage and i can see how salt water could effect parts due to build up because of the plastic layers. same mate also has this insane laser thing that imprints on any surface. (did all my gardening tools) please let me know if you make some more, i defiantly would like one =)
@@GOTube98 Exactly, the layers just seem to let water in. If I forget to rinse my gear after a dive and leave it a couple of days, all of my 3d printed stuff is covered in salt crystals 😂 Do you mean like a Lazer engraver? I'd love one of those!! I need to use my CNC machine more but just haven't lately! And cool, I'll see what I can come up with and I'll let you know!
