for the past 45 years I have made my patterns the same with exception of no Plastic sheet but rather rols of PAPER! NO WASTE ISSUE!

A great video guys. A very clear demo of what to do, I feel we could attempt that first stage ourselves. Defo need helping hands. Love the tips from the pro!

Great tutorial! Do you recon that making a templaye with to original sprayhood on gives the same result as without the original on?

Danny suggested if you have the old spray hood and it fitted well, un pick the stitches and use it for the template. If it doesn’t fit well, you can modify it or start again. I hope this helps 👍 P.s good luck and let us know how you get on here!

Since you have an existing spray hood, wouldn't it be easier to rip the panel threads and use use these as a template. No measurements would be required.

That’s exactly what Danny suggests at some point in the video. However we were lowering the hood as it was rather high and obstructed the helmsman’s view.
