*"OH NO‼️👎 You painted over that lovely chartreuse green watering can to make it look like a galvanized watering can‼️😔😭😳 I L💚VE the chartreuse green color, LOL❣️🤣🤣🤣 Having said that, however, YOU DID A FANTASTIC JOB OF MAKING THAT WATERING CAN LOOK LIKE AN ACTUAL GALVANIZED WATERING CAN, LISA...IT IS ●SO REALISTIC LOOKING● my SWEET FRIEND❣️🤣🤣🤣 Isn't it GREAT that we are NOT all the SAME, Lisa⁉️🙂🤣👍🏼👌😁*
Lisa, I love the idea of displaying old post cards like this. I saw Julie do it, too. I think your selection of holders for the wires is wonderful. Those old cards, etc. are so nostalgic and bring back good memories! Thanks for sharing. God bless.
Hi Lisa, these projects came out adorable. I really like that shade of green too. Your videos are so calming and I like how you talk through step by step. Thank you. Here in California 😊
*Lisa, the PLAID RIBBON you used on the watering can with the Zinnias is so PERFECT....it has ALL OF THE COLORS of the Zinnias in it and it looks FABULOUS❣️‼️❣️😁🙂🤣*
I loved the galvanised style effect of the watering can, and really enjoyed the video, as always, and your attention to detail thank you so much Lisa xx
*Lisa, you went all of the way around the roof trim of the bird house 🏠 with the green ink EXCEPT for in the BACK, where it is STILL WHITE....I am NOT yelling at you, Lisa....I am just using CAPS for emphasis, (and acting silly) MY SWEET FRIEND❣️😂🤣🤪 The unpainted trim on the back looks weird and unfinished, sorry to say.🙃* *EDIT: I forgot to say how much I LIKED how (and how pretty it looks) you used a stencil with the green ink to add texture to the roof of the birdhouse. 🐦 It's BRILLIANT‼️😉👌😁 And I'm gonna HAVE TO REMEMBER THAT TECHNIQUE if I ever upcycle a birdhouse like that with a roof - because now that I've seen YOUR ROOF - a plain, flat, boring SINGLE COLOR just DOESN'T CUT IT anymore, LOL❣️🙊🙉🤣🤣🤣 THANKS SO MUCH‼️*
The florals in the water can were really nice. They remind me of zinnias and I can’t say I have seen them before. It is a good idea to try and find items that already have nice flowers. Saves you money. Everything turned at so nice.
Spring is my favorite time of the year. These crafts are beautiful. I really loved the bird house and the way you use cinnamon to rust the projects. TYFS❤❤❤
*BTW, I L💟VED IT that you gave Julie, from Julie's Designs and Signs, a shout-out to give her credit where credit is due - as you ALWAYS HAVE DONE with other creator's ideas and projects❣️😁 I just wanted to take a moment to acknowledge that and THANK YOU for doing so, Lisa‼️❣️💟💚💕*
Lisa I never get tired of watching you create and recreate projects. I have learned so much from you sweet friend and not just about crafting! Sending you love!
Absolutely wonderful!! Love the “rusty cinnamon“ look and it smells so nice too!! Yvonne from Ginger Chick Rehab sprays her projects with a spray she gets from Home Depot called Weather Defense and it protects it to go outside! I haven’t used it yet, but, she uses it for all her outdoor art. I’m right there with you on this dreary weather!! Michigan cloud cover was called a “disturbance” by the weather man I heard yesterday 😂😂😂. Disturbing that wonderful sunshine!! Speaking of sunshine, Gosh! I miss you!! You are such an inspiration to me and all of your RU-vid family!! God bless you and your family too! ❤❤❤❤
What lovely colors, particularly the green you mixed. Yes, we're ready for spring!!! Rust: When I was a kid, I had very repeated and stern warnings about rusty objects, so much so that I can't apply rust to anything. lol.
*Lisa, the little container with just one hole is to sanitarily dispense toothpicks. 🙂 It sure is darling the way you used it as an ephemera display. 😛😜😁*
*OMIGOSH, Lisa...the new subtle green color you created to paint the ceramic watering can looks STUNNING 😍 with those pale pink faux Gerbera Daisies with their PERFECTLY mimicked blossoms, leaves 🌿 and stems❣️💟💕 WOW‼️🌺💮🌸 Sure wish I knew the name of the manufacturer of the artificial Zinnias and Gerbera Daisies you featured in this video, Lisa, so I could buy some of them for myself‼️😁 And I'm willing to bet you do, too, so you could purchase them as well❣️👌😉💯*
What I have been doing is snip out little sayings or sentiments. I glue them to skewer and poke them into flower arrangements. I use tea cups or less than perfect vintage planters. Strategically hide the flaw.
I loved every one of these projects. I am so happy you showed your rust technique I am going to do this with an old metal watering can. Thanks so much.
