Nice. Almost no space consumed. I have the same shallow mount subwoofer paired with a chinese mono amp board in my pick up. Still working for 3 years already.
I never get tired of watching these videos. I wanted to know the types of boxes they have, in some the duct comes out in parallel with the subwoofer, in others not. Is there a difference?
Very nice! I plan to do something very similar. Can a ask a couple questions? First, is there a reason, structurally, that the top and bottom overhang beyond the end pieces? And my second question is about the placement of the speaker in the box. Is it better to have it more toward one end? It appears that the box is deeper further to the left. I'm not questioning your build, just want to learn what's best before I build mine. Oh and what kind of insulation is that you put in it? Would regular fiberglass house insulation work as well or is this something made for acoustics? I want the best possible sound. Thank you
Hello Danny, thanks for dropping by. Original plan was to have the amp mounted on the left side of the woofer but I changed my mind by putting the amp under the seat and already bore hole on the front panel. Fiberglass was also the plan but very expensive so i used mdf scraps. The filling material is just the same used in pillows called polyester fiber.
Hello Foxx, i wish i can share the dimensions for you but i still haven't plot a 3d object on this one because the box has so many irregular sides with different angles and measurements.
@@chrclmnky and it's a pain in the a$$ 🤣 your boxes come out really clean tho. I'm still getting used to doin aero ports I like how urs fit right in with no screws looks clean👍
