I just saw your channel for the first time. I watched you make this sunflower wreath and it was beautiful. I'm 80 years old and have only been making a few wreaths for the past year or so. I learn from watching wreath makers on RU-vid. I am so happy I found you and believe I will learn a lot from you because I can see you have a great deal of talent and have a God given gift for making these beautiful wreaths. You are a VERY good teacher. I watch a lot of bow makers/crafters and they are not nearly as good as you. I was at that stage of trying to do this stuff myself, but always think it looks terrible. I am going to dollar tree today to get more practice material. I feel like I learned enough in this video to make me want to try again. I am going to check out the wreath of the month stuff after this video. Thank you!!

Good morning! Laurie-Ann, I just want to tell you that you have done an AMAZING job on this wreath class. I haven’t even finished watching yet, but it is already by far the best I have seen. You are clear and precise in your instructions. I just dragged out my ribbon and made a bow the way you taught it and I love it! Plus, I now have a pretty sunflower bow with bees on it ready for my “bee happy” wreath that I am making this weekend. 😁. Thank you for such a great class!!! (Hope I spelled your name correctly. Now back to watching the remainder of your class)

Top right corner above the sunflower on the top right side ....the left side is a whole lot more bushier than the right side it just needs a little more soft greenery

How do you know how much to cut off of the stems? Is there a set amount of stem that needs to go into the grapevine or styrofoam wreaths? What determines when when to use the steel pick machine aside from loose individual stems? This is my 2nd tutorial watching you and your style is so calming, reassuring and thorough. I actually am starting to understand the ins and outs of wreath making. Thank YOU!

The left side should have some more greenery to make it a little taller and the bottom right needs something curving out to the right. Wreaths look more natural with an S curve. Not a tight S but a slight one.

A late question .. just saw this video.. if you can’t afford to shop at Michael’s where prices are too much for me, and I don’t have an outlet for florals, and I don’t have a pick machine and only a glue gun ( you’re probably wondering why I even bother making wreaths then😊).. but I buy most of my flowers from dollar tree, Walmart etc.. am I able to make a wreath as lovely as yours … what is the approximate cost of each of your wreaths to make and what do you sell them for?(is that asking too much). I live in a small town so purchase my supplies when I go to the nearest big city 2 and a half hours away, and I of course take my list with me … I post all my wreaths on market place and at Christmas sold 30 of them .. which I thought was great for me !!.. Have you ever made a wreath out of cheaper supplies just so we could see what you could make .. thanks for any and all input!!

When Michaels and Hobby Lobby have their sales the flowers are at a low cost, like 70 percent off. Shop on line when things are on sale. You don't need the pick machine, floral picks work too. A glue gun works just fine. Good luck
